User Guide

The app is designed to be used top to bottom.

The USE LOCATION and GET FORECAST buttons must both be pressed until they turn green before the forecast data is correct.

If you change any setting, check that both buttons are still green.

To reset at any point, press the START AGAIN button.

The ⚙ UNITS button switches between miles/km and feet/metres.

Section 1 — Location

Section 2 — Forecast Options

Four forecast modes are available:

1. Hourly Forecast

  • Pick a date range
  • Choose weather variables
  • Choose a weather model
  • Press GET FORECAST
  • Data displays in a table
  • Press SAVE next to UPDATED for offline copy

2. Daily Forecast

  • Pick a date range
  • Choose a weather model
  • Press GET FORECAST
  • Press SAVE for offline copy

3. Compare

  • Pick a date range
  • Select stored favourites to compare (or one favourite to see model spread)
  • Press GET FORECAST
  • USE LOCATION is disabled in this mode
  • Shows daily range across all three models (e.g. "−2 to 1°")
  • View by: Day · Variable · Map

4. Cloud Layers

  • Pick dates
  • Choose a weather model
  • Press GET FORECAST
